• 1 C. Ketchup
  • 2 T. chili sauce
  • 1/4 C. water
  • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 T. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. hot sauce
  • 2 tsp. dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 3 T. brown sugar
  • 2 pounds country style pork ribs
  • 1 onion sliced into rings
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into rings

The sauce these ribs cook in is wonderful!


In a bowl, mix the ketchup, chili sauce, water, red wine vinegar, lemon jouick, worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, dijon mustard, chili powder, garlic powder, celery salt, black pepper, and brown sugar.

Place the pork ribs in slow cooker, and layer with onion and red bell pepper.  Pour sauce into the slower cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
