• 1/2 lb. shredded Jarlsberg cheese
  • 2 T. minced red onion
  • 3/4 - 1 C. Mayo
  • Chives if desired (I used them)

Jarlsberg cheese (it’s a type of Swiss), have you ever heard of that? I hadn’t until I was walking through the grocery store and it just happened to be sample day. Bonus! This lady wanted me to try this cheese spread that they were selling. I kind of hesitated, tried it just to be nice. I don’t know why but I always feel bad for telling them no. She also gave me the recipe to this spread! It was so good that I made it for an appetizer to have on Christmas Eve. 4 ingredients, I would say it’s an easy one!

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Serve with crackers. This also can be served warm. Bake in oven on Baguette bread until golden brown.
