  • ~ Topping:

I got this recipe awhile ago from one of my best buds, Meghan.  She’s always baking something delicious!  I’ve made it many times and my coworkers have dubbed it “Piece of Heaven”.  I brought it into work the other night thinking that they’d be so excited to have it since I hadn’t made it in awhile… come to find out that one of the guys baked it the night before! (They all needed the recipe after the first time I made it!)  They still loved it, even though they got to eat it two nights in a row!

Directions:

Grease 13×9 pan with cooking spray. Unroll one tube of crescent rolls and press onto bottom of pan. Add cream cheese mixture. Layer with second pack crescent rolls. (If I want it to look very smooth I will first unroll crescent rolls onto a piece of wax paper and press it out to cover the cream cheese mixture and then flip wax paper over and peel it off while pressing sheet of crescent rolls down) Melt butter and pour on top. Sprinkle sugar topping. Bake at 350 at least 25 minutes and remove from oven when top is nicely browned.  Allow to set for a little while before cutting.  Great served warm, but also good cold, too!
