• 1/2 C. Sugar
  • 1/4 C. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • dash of salt
  • 8-9 apples, peeled & sliced
  • 1 Pillsbury pie crust (or you can make your own)
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 3/4 C. flour
  • 1/2 C. butter, softened

This pie is fabulous. I had it at my Aunt’s house about a year ago and it took me about 10 seconds after taking one bite to ask for the recipe. Best homemade apple pie ever!


Peel and slice all apples. Put in large bowl and mix all filling ingredients (1st 4 ingredients listed) together. Pour in pie crust.
In a separate bowl mix all topping ingredients (last 3 ingredients listed) together with a pastry blender, crumble on top. If you mix the topping together too much it will turn in to a cookie dough like consistency. If this happens, just break it up in tiny pieces to cover top of pie. Bake at 425 for 35-40 min. I did have to cover the edges with foil about 20 min. in to baking.
