• 1/2 packet Bear Creek Navy Bean Soup (found by broth in grocery store)
  • 2 Cans Navy Beans, not drained
  • 1 Can white Kidney Beans
  • 2 (32oz.) Cartons Beef Broth
  • 1/2 lb. ham, diced and cooked
  • 1 Tbsp. Better than Bouillon Ham Base
  • 1 potato, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1/4 head of cabbage, diced
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1/2 T. parsley
  • 1 t. Italian seasoning
  • 1 can split pea and ham soup (healthy request)
  • approx. 3 C. water (more or less depending on consistency)

Another soup! Every once in a while I get a taste for bean and ham soup and turn to Dad’s recipe. I’m not kidding when I say that I am a soup girl! Perfect for a cold, snowy day.

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in large pot. Simmer for 1.5-2 hours.
