• Small pumpernickel bites
  • Sandwich spread
  • Thinly sliced corned beef lunch meat (about a half piece per square)
  • Sauerkraut, squeezed dry
  • Sliced Swiss cheese

Here’s a fun little appetizer.  We love reubens and this is just our mini version of the tasty sandwich!  They’re easy to put together, too!

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Arrange pumpernickel squares on a baking sheet.  Spread sandwich spread on each square.  Next, layer corned beef, sauerkraut, and swiss cheese.  Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted nicely.  Serve!

Here is a photo of two ingredients you might not buy often.  The dark pumpernickel squares were in the aged cheese, hummus, and pita chip area and the sandwich spread is by the mayo!
