• 2 (12 oz) bags of chocolate chips (milk chocolate, white chocolate, peanut butter, butterscotch, or any flavor combo you like!)
  • 1 (12 oz) bag chow mein noodles
  • Jelly Beans (or any egg shaped candy)

Here’s a fun Easter or Spring treat to try!  It’s easy, cute, and fast, too… and maybe a little bit messy, but finger lickin’ good! 😉  My little Lyla loved making these with me!

Directions:

Place wax paper on a baking sheet and set aside.  Dump the two bags of chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.  Melt in microwave on 50% heat for 60 seconds and stir.  Repeat this until all chips are melted.  Add chow mein noodles and stir again until they’re coated.  Scoop out a spoonful of chow mein/chocolate mixture with a regular spoon and place scoop on wax paper lined baking sheet.  Shape into a circle/nest with fingers and repeat.  Add jelly beans on top.  Place in refrigerator or freezer to set up quickly.

And maybe after you’re done making these, you might want to try Casey’s adorable Bird Nest Necklaces!
Egg or bunny shaped suncatchers might be fun, too!
